10 May, 2009 - Swim PEI Provincial Team Travels to Quebec City

The provincial team’s trip to Quebec City started with a ten hour bus ride, which was itself, team building in some people’s opinions.  That evening everyone went shopping at the Laurier shopping mall across the street from our hotel and the boys all came back sporting green Robin Hood hats and carrying plastic swords and bow and arrows they bought from the dollar store.

The next morning we started bright and early with a duel meet against the University of Laval swim team.  Everyone claimed it as fun and the competition and racing was awesome.  It was interesting to see how the Quebec swimmers our age compared to us.  That afternoon we went for a nature walk in a park.  Everyone found it super fun and refreshing from being inside so much.  Overall it was very good team building and the ice cream at the end of the walk was delicious!
